Who and where are GT International Logistics?
GT International Logistics is located in Auckland, New Zealand. Although a young company, founding director Phil Gibbs has almost 30 years in the business, and is a respected expert in the field of automotive and project logistics.

What do I need to supply to make a booking?
The initial information we need is: the shipper's address and contact details, the receiver's address and contact details, and a description of the goods (eg for a car: year/make/model)

What countries and ports do you ship from and to?
GT International Logistics can service most countries. We have agents who can arrange collections and deliveries on our behalf.

How often do cargo ships and planes leave?
They are leaving all the time. We can give you a sailing and flight schedules - just ask us.

How much notice do you need before the ship sails?
Ideally 7 days prior to the sailing date to ensure we can complete all the necessary customs formalities.

How big is a container?
A 20' General Purpose Container is 5.906m long, 2.352m wide (interior) and 2.396m high. The door opening is 2.338m wide by 2.283m high.

A 40' General Purpose Container is 12.030m long, 2.347m wide (interior) and 2.396m high. The door opening is 2.338m wide by 2.283m high.

Are GST, Duties or Taxes included in your price?
No, unless stated our quotations exclude local and import or destination GST, duties or taxes.

What are your payment terms?
Unless account facilities have been agreed to, all charges for pre-paid export shipments need to be settled in full prior to departure. Import shipments do not require deposits to be made prior to shipments leaving any respective origin. However, payment in full (including insurance, duties and GST as/if applicable) is required once shipments arrive in New Zealand and are ready for uplift or delivery. [ Terms of Trade ]

Do you accept credit cards?
No, not at this time. Cash, personal, bank or company cheque or direct credit to our New Zealand or US currency accounts are the prefered payment methods.

Are my goods insured while in transit?
Not automatically, no. However we can arrange full and comprehensive cover for you and include premium charges in any quote prior to shipment. Requests for insurance must be recieved in writing. [ Terms of Trade ]
