As GT International Logistics regularly deal with the unusual, shipping 'standard' air or sea freight, whether LCL (Less then Container Load) and FCL (Full Container Load) cargo is something we do with ease. We pay the same attention to detail as we would with any of our specialised niche category cargoes, and our rates are especially competitive.
What’s involved In general air and sea freight?
You need to understand what incoterm you are selling or buying under (incoterms are maintained by the International Chamber of Commerce, and are used in foreign trade contracts to define which parties incur the costs and at what specific point the costs are incurred). This then sets the framework for you, your supplier and your customer so all parties understand who is responsible for what when it comes to cost.
Once you have established the incoterm let us know the weight, dimensions and number of pieces of your shipment and we will work out the most economic air or sea based shipping method for your budget and time requirements.
Making a booking is easy. We will ask you for essential information like your supplier or client details, run through the paperwork needed and then we and our overseas partners will co-ordinate everything through to the point the order is delivered. We’ll keep you informed at each and every step about your consignment.
